Rory Whipple is one of the most accomplished coaches in NCAA men's lacrosse history and a highly respected leader in the international game.

  • More than 359 career NCAA victories over 38 seasons.
  • Built championship-caliber programs at Clarkson, Hartwick, Bryant, Florida Southern, and the University of Tampa.
  • Led the University of Tampa to six conference championships, seven NCAA Tournament appearances, and three national semifinal appearances.
  • Former head coach of the Iroquois Nationals (Haudenosaunee) and an experienced international coach.
  • Inducted into multiple lacrosse halls of fame, including the SUNY Cortland Hall of Fame.

Full Bio
Mike “Smitty” Smith joined the USVI Men’s National Team staff following his tenure as Head Coach of the Buccaneers men’s lacrosse program.

After five seasons as an assistant, Smith was named head coach in 2022 and quickly led the program to conference playoff appearances while mentoring multiple First-Team All-Conference selections and a Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year.

A graduate of Springfield College, Smith played four years of collegiate lacrosse and is recognized for his energy, leadership, and commitment to player development.
